CLIENT
Iris is a sophisticated art supply line created for mature artists. Their mission is to create quality products while being conscious of the environment. Among the items in the Iris line are crayons, markers, drawing pencils, and water colors.

DESIGN STRATEGY
I wanted the Iris brand to represent the products they create. The strong san-serif logo type speaks to the maturity of the audience, while the messy brush stroke adds an element of fun. For the packaging, I created textures using the materials. The limited color palette nods to the maturity of the audience
, expecting them to understand what’s inside without seeing it, while the textures themselves make the packaging approachable. The natural colored felt paper gives the products an additional layer of texture.
